I learned about Nick Cotton while listening to a podcast by E. Michael Jones, a friend of Nick who mentioned his work in England. Special thanks to Dr. Jones for contacting Nick on my behalf. He has a significant following in the dissident/free-speech arena of both the UK and the US. His regular hangout is Speaker’s Corner, in Hyde park, London. Andy and I showed up to hear his soapbox speech on a beautiful September afternoon. Then we found a quieter spot in the middle of a huge field and I conducted a one-on-one interview while Andy filmed. We talked about
Tommy Robinson
Jordan Peterson
The 1st amendment
Speaker’s Corner
Neil Oliver
The left-right divide
Thomas Massie
Jeremy Corbyn
I always wonder about the popular podcasters/influencers/independent journalists fighting the good fight. I ask myself, “Are they genuine? What’s their angle?” From my brief time with Nick Cotton, he certainly strikes me as a genuine, good bloke. The real deal I’d say! And very well spoken. Sadly, he’s decided to go off the radar, and won’t be doing interviews or engaging in social media for a while, according to his latest tweet. He says sayonara for now but he’ll be back with bigger projects, which I’m looking forward to. Meanwhile, click the movie box above for the 25-minute interview from sunny Hyde Park.
