THOSE backpacks are in fact for school kids. I first saw them in a store when I was here in the navy. Thought they were cool and wanted one. Sticker shock ensued. I then later learned that they are for kids. Traditionally Grandparents buy them for their grandkids when they enter elementary school and they last through jr. High. I don’t think high schoolers typically carry them but I may be mistaken. More how they do not look small on the backs of adult women. Now imaging a 6 year old carrying one.
I think the joke about the randoseru (sp?) is that mommy and her friends are wearing actual kids school back packs.
Is mommy going to school too? Just like me? If backpacks are meant for elementary school kids, this could be confusing to a young girl.
