The most heinous transgressions are actually noble and good
if my side is doing the transgressing.
I know people who really know evil when they see it, at least when it’s manifested by the bad guys. When the ‘good guys’ act badly or show their cards indicating they plan to act badly, it’s a bit harder for these folks to spot malevolence. We all naturally tend to support our team.
Among the electorate, the red faction breaks out in hives if you mention Clinton, Obama, or Biden. The blue does the same with Reagan, Bush and Trump. Issues are not looked at based on their merits or defects, but on who is behind them. This clever, old divide-and-conquer trick- getting us worked up and divided over personalities rather than focusing on the nuts and bolts of an issue- works whether our rulers want support or opposition from either faction of the divided, propaganda-addled electorate.
Dems- I hate Trump so I’ll oppose Trump stuff and support his opponent (our man) whatever the case.
Repubs- I hate Obama so I’ll oppose Obama stuff and support his opponent (our man) whatever the case.
Look how:
Democrats who once were concerned about immigration and border security, like any reasonable American, drop the issue when it’s clear that this concern would align them with the MAGA crowd.
Trump supporters who reject the vaccine just want to drop the issue when you mention Cap’n Warpspeed.
(I get that example 2 is not a perfect illustration of this phenomenon from the Democrat perspective- they could have been a bit more skeptical of the Covid vax since it was being pushed so hard by their arch-nemesis Trump. The point is that so many conservatives, usually more skeptical of government than liberals, refuse to condemn Trump for the clot shot, because they’ve already shoved all their I support Trump chips into the pot. They did that largely because of their hatred of the other side; divide and conquer works.)
So what’s to be done when an issue comes up that needs bipartisan attention and action? I look at what’s happening in LA and think,
The Democrats aren’t thinking about border control here.
The Republicans aren’t thinking about the police state here.
But we all need to be thinking about both. Mass immigration and a technocratic police state are against the interests of all legacy Americans, red or blue (and everyone, everywhere who wants to preserve their culture/race/way of life/prosperity/freedom). We should all oppose both these things.
Meanwhile, the Controllers are fully supportive of both!
I met a MAGA dude today. Hard-working contractor type. Retired baby boomer. Real nice guy. We talked about the cost of living in the valley.
maga Steve: The billionaires have invaded and run the cost of living into the stratosphere.
Dan: I don’t know how regular people afford to live here.
Steve: Well, they have to. All these rich out-of-staters who only live here part time have to have contractors do all their work.
Dan: Yeah. It’s nice that we can probably count on employment as long as the rich need their work done. But I wonder if the incoming coastal rich wouldn’t rather replace us with cheaper labor from Mexico and points south, like they’re already used to in Washington, Oregon and California.
Steve: Not here, yet.
Dan: I don’t know, I know a bunch of itinerant, central-Americans laborers working in the valley. There’s a lot more every year. They’ve definitely got their foot in the door.
Steve: Well, Trump’s doing something about that.
Assuming the Democrats are a bit more brain-addled by hatred for the other side, as Trump is le triggerer extraordinaire, I’ll propose this thought experiment to the red faction:
Whatever Trump or your ‘conservative’ authorized hero is proposing, forget the messenger and think of the message. Imagine the other side is behind it, and then ask yourself what you think of proposal X.
It’s like this, let’s say you love the Hulkster, and hate King Kong Bundy.
.
Your current thinking is, “Don’t tell me Hulk Hogan is involved in anything nefarious- I won’t have it! Furthermore, anything King Kong Bundy does or stands for needs to be opposed! He’s the epitome of evil!”
Just try this: Change Hulk Hogan to King Kong Bundy whenever you see the Hulkster make a policy proposal, appoint a new staff member, sign an executive order, etc. Then ask yourself if you still like it.
ex: Hulk Hogan King Kong Bundy intends to keep US troops stationed in Syria, Saudi Arabia and Iraq indefinitely. Is this a good idea?
ex: Hulk Hogan King Kong Bundy favors Assad’s ouster and regime change in Syria. Is this a good idea?
ex: Hulk Hogan King Kong Bundy was a long-time friend/associate of Jeffrey Epstien, as well as friend of the Clintons. Is this worrisome?
ex: Hulk Hogan King Kong Bundy’s advisor-son-in-law’s father, Charles Kushner, is a convicted 18-count felon, disbarred attorney and former prison convict, who bought his mediocre son Jared his ticket to Harvard, and who hired a prostitute to seduce his sister’s husband in an intimidation/blackmail scheme. Charles’ New York address is 666 5th Ave., New York. Bundy pardoned the elder Kushner and recently appointed him ambassador to France. Is this a good thing?
See how this works? You can try this with other names, like say, Trump and Obama/Biden.
ex: Donald Trump Barack Obama is making a pitch for a massive increase in tariffs. Is this a good idea?
ex: Donald Trump Joe Biden is spearheading a massive increase in the surveillance of the citizenry, under the guise of controlling illegal immigration. Is this a concern?
etc.
The Police State is being built right in front of your eyes, and the party (or personality) you favor is 100% supportive of it.
But you dismiss this possibility and sit idle because you support Trump. I’ll not elaborate; Gary Barnett has already done that-see his post below.
But first, Trumpsters: Did you know that Palantir was instrumental in identifying and compiling dossiers on the January 6th protesters, so that they could be tried, convicted and locked up for a long time? Yes, that’s the same Palantir that is receiving over a billion in funding from the Trump administration so that they can set up dossiers not only on the illegal baddies that ICE is ostensibly after, but on you and me.
You wouldn’t argue that Palantir was byaaad during the patriot witch-hunt era of Biden and then somehow became gwuuud after election ‘24, would you? Careful, if you’re ignoring, and therefore tacitly supporting bad policy because it’s coming from your team, the libs might have a point if they accuse you of being in a cult of personality.
Here’s what the Newsweek Normie commentariat is saying about the article above:
Are they wrong?
There has been some talk about the Real ID tyranny, but not nearly enough due to all the…Trump supporters who will go along with anything Trump does, regardless of the totalitarian nature of it. This is not simply an ID system that is benign concerning biometric identification, tracking, and data collection. It is another gateway to full on mass surveillance and tracing all movement of everyone. It entails DNA collection, facial recognition, (already becoming universal) and blanket screening.
Trump’s position of course, just as his controllers demand, is to claim this personal invasion is for your safety, and immigration is being used as the catalyst to drive that lie forward. It has nothing to do whatsoever with immigration, because it is a stair-step to mass surveillance of everyone. That is the goal.
Remember, divide and conquer, divide and conquer, at every level, always. What is going on in Los Angeles right now is testament to this strategy. Again, it is not about immigration, it is about total control.
Although some of the asinine ICE polices sought have been put on hold, that is only temporary, as nothing has changed from current policy. What was dropped was even more enhanced biometric gathering, (Remember when Trump said he would not set up a biometric State?) so nothing effectively changed.
“In a statement announcing the withdrawal of the proposal, the Department of Homeland ‘Security,’ (DHS) would continue to collect biometrics, including fingerprints and photos of people applying for citizenship, and iris scans of people apprehended at the border.” in addition, Trump’s proposal, if adopted, would “enable U.S. Citizenship and immigration (USCIS) to collect more biometrics, including voice prints and DNA, for anyone applying to enter the U.S. and family members including children.”
Trump argued that this would improve security vetting, help reduce fraud, and make the immigration system more efficient by allowing checking the status with just their voice and DNA. Do not be blind to this trickery, do not be fooled or completely obtuse, as this insanity will not be isolated to immigrants. The plan, Trump’s plan, is to implement this for all of you, and all that is required for this to come to fruition, is for you to do nothing, and go along to get along. That seems to now be the ‘American’ way. Pathetic!
PS: I substituted an ellipsis for a pejorative word in the Gary Barnett quote above. Sometimes I feel Barnett would rather rant than convince, and I gather he thinks there’s no hope in getting Trump supporters to change, so he says stuff like The braindead Trump supporters will go along with anything Trump does. But I disagree. I think there is hope and people can change. I’ve seen it.
PSS: from an article by Derek Brose: At the Brink of the Palantir World Order
Let's circle back to my original question:
How does a company with CIA ties and two steering committee members of the secretive Bilderberg Group as founders end up in the White House?
This is no small curiosity. We are witnessing the MAGA movement -- which largely believes it is the "resistance" to the "globalist elite" -- capitulate and make excuses as Trump stacks his cabinet with members and attendees of the Bilderberg Group, the World Economic Forum, and the WEF's Young Global Leaders program. The Bilderberg attendees who meet in secret every May are the representatives of the true ruling class.
The fact that two members of the steering committee of the Bilderberg Group -- Peter Thiel and Alex Karp -- are running Palantir and collecting an increasing number of military industrial complex contracts is a clear sign that Trump is not fighting the "deep state".
That Palantir is now even further integrated with the US government via the Trump administration should alarm all Americans. It should alarm residents of nations around the world who value privacy and individual liberty.
A former employee of Palantir who recently decided to come forward and warn the public about his former employer says the knowledge that someone like Palantir is always watching will be enough to push some people into silence.
"We're at the brink of using these technologies potentially to run our government, to run our battlefields and our personal lives," he said. "Using artificial intelligence as a sort of panacea solution across our federal departments, and especially when they're again wielded by, people with a very distinct agenda, puts everyone at risk."
The agenda promoted by Technocrats like Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, and Alex Karp, and their friends in the Trump administration is not America First. It's not an agenda which represents individual liberty, freedom of speech, and freedom from invasive technologies. It is an anti-human, technological progress at all costs, Technocratic agenda which will result in the end of human liberty if we do not resist.
Preach it, brother!
I have been reading Gary Barnett for years and back him strongly, but I do agree that he does a lot of ranting without producing any viable solutions. Part of the problem, in my opinion, is that he leaves no room at all for spiritual intervention into the hearts and minds of people, changing them for the better. Gary has no hope for the future of mankind because he has no faith that "good" will overcome and conquer "evil".
We're doomed!
Nevertheless, I support him because he simply will not quit and we need people like him to "blow the trumpet".
Yup. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
