Skip Hillebrand passed me in his truck as I was walking down to the Charlie Kirk Memorial parade. He pulled over so I could come over and say hello.
Dan- Are you going down to the parade?
Skip- Nah, I think I’m gonna pass on Charliepalooza.
I believe Skip sees it all as an unnecessary and counterproductive glorification and apotheosis of Kirk.
I was just going down to get a feel for the sentiments of the crowd, by doing a YNP-10 interview style survey.
My only thought on this I will post at present is this: it’s good to get out and talk to people, if only to show yourself that lots of people who you thought might be on your side don’t see things the way you do.
I should have some time tomorrow to do a little editing so hopefully I can get my footage out tomorrow night or Tuesday.
