Among my criteria for deciding whether or not a guest is worthy of an interview, the fact that he has been banned on the main channels ranks very high. When someone is kicked off Youtube*, I immediately assume he was telling truths that the powerful don’t want disseminated. It happened to me on the Youtube channel I co-administered for kla.tv, Japanese version. After a couple strikes, I didn’t bother uploading to Youtube anymore and just stuck to the Odysee channel. They didn’t like our covid vaccine information.
(*Conversely, of course, whenever I watch a video on Youtube with a political/historical/conspiratorial/etc. angle, I remind myself, “Oh, so this one got past the Pravda sensors. I wonder what truths they are leaving out here.”)
I plan on featuring many banned writers and speakers here and on BBR. Obviously, for free speech to survive, we have to engage in uncomfortable and ‘offensive’ speech. I apologize in advance, as you too will be offended or made uncomfortable or just plain disagree (but if you’re already here now you’ll probably agree with 90%+ of the rest of it, heh.)
Talking about the weather or the Seahawks does nothing to promote and maintain free speech. This is one of the things that drew me to working with kla.tv; they have a history of promoting silenced voices. An affiliate organization of kla is AZK, the Anti-Zensur Koalition. They hold conferences in Switzerland where they invite speakers too hot for the mainstream to handle. This practice drives the mainstream crazy and the AZK is often attacked by ‘official’ media, and sometimes even the government.
Once the AZK hosted the lawyer Sylvia Stolz, who defended in court a German-American man who was facing years in jail for denying details of the Holocaust. She got in deep trouble upon returning to Germany and the leader of the AZK was hounded by the Swiss authorities for allowing her to speak. He of course dare not step foot in Germany. Since the troubles they encountered after this Swiss conference, the AZK has been a bit more cautious about approaching the third rail. Here in America, you risk your job and your reputation. In Germany and many other countries in Europe you go to jail.
EMJ steps all over the third rail. Whatever you think of his politics and philosophy, one thing is certain, he is not afraid of getting in trouble for his frank speech. Youtube has banned him. His presence on Twitter is tenuous, as he’s been banned there before. And in his own words, “I have been banned from Amazon. This is scandalous!” I would agree. For these reasons, and the fact that his books are exhaustive, fascinating studies of various topics, he’s worthy of an interview or two. Here we talk about those books.

One of your best in your Forbidden Wine series of interviews! Subtle yet savory with an herbal overtone reminiscent of bergamot, sorrel and holy basil combined with a flourish of elderberry and understated oaky notes. 5 stars!
Thank you for this overview of Dr. E. Michael Jone's books. Folks really would benefit from watching the 54 minute interview. What an impressive thinker, interesting mind, and prolific writer. I look forward to exploring his work. An authentically banned author!
