I won’t say I burnt my bridges in Japan- but I did turn down a pretty sweet job that I could have probably counted on until retirement. Why do such an irresponsible thing? Because

1. it would have been back to the same employer expectations as during The Horror (ongoing of course). Shut up about the masks and the clot shot, and never mind a teacher’s responsibility to look out for the health, safety and well-being of his students.

2. I have big plans for Montana!

Kyle and I are getting the studio finished, and hopefully we’ll have the website running and initial broadcasts running on the stream soon.

This meme could have of course included a picture of an American school exterior juxtaposed with a corrections facility. Each of my three schools from 3rd grade to 12th looked like some kind of a bunker that you’d expect the grunts to be hunkered down in next to the airstrip at Khe Sanh during an NVA artillery bombardment. Why did they build schools like that?
