Remember those Emergency Broadcast System alerts back in the day, when the Russkies were gonna vaporize us at any moment? “This is a test. This is only a test.” Those alerts were on all 5 TV channels, even on KCPQ 13 Tacoma, way before the FOX era. I don’t know why, but I kind of liked those alerts. It didn’t bother me too much that Sci-Fi Theatre or the 1 o’clock (B) movie was broken up by the long, ‘boooooop’. But for some reason, ‘CD’ of the Civil Defense triangle thingy, with its weird font, spooked me a little bit.

Anyway, it was a less annoying interruption than, Don’t squeeze the Charmin, Mr. Whipple. Ah, wasted youth.

Well, I recently saw a flyer posted on a street-lamp pole here in SW Montana. Some locals are trying to get their dog back. Back in the day, you would have seen an ad like this,

LOST DOG. BLACK AND WHITE. 'SKID’. REWARD. CALL SH7-6743

But this owner went all out with a $3,000 reward and a whole story behind it. With all the work that went into the flyer, and a reward that big, I, like ol’ Channel 13, have decided to make use of my position as a major media influencer and help broadcast their message. I have no idea whether the information is true and indeed Johnson and Anderson stole a pooch; let’s just find the dog first and let the sheriff and judge sort that out. By the way the author of the text in the flyer asks that the message go viral, and I want to ingratiate myself with the local community (if not Johnson and Anderson), hence my efforts here.

SKIDDY BOY. 1-year old black lab/border collie mix

Matilda m Johnson and shawn lincoln Anderson stole my dog and I don’t know if they gave my dog to there oldest son Dylan Johnson who lives in Lolo mt. but I haven’t figured out if matilda and Shawn took my dog to any of the states they have family in and there’s a lot of states they used to live in. Just trying to narrow the results. Yes I have filed a police report and yes they could be in Oregon because they used to live there and have family there also but honestly my hope is that she dropped him off with someone in Missoula Montana because they are homeless and it would be hard to take care of 3 dogs and 2 people in a 2 door extended cab Dodge Dakota white in color. the couple has family all over especially in Ohio please make this viral he is in danger I miss him so much and can’t stop worrying about him there’s a 2000$ reward (see phone number on picture)

Let’s hope Skiddy-Boy gets back to his proper owner.
